Let's Play in Japanese!

**We now have a permanent home on 2nd Ave and E.10th Street in the East Village!**

NYCNDA (Nihongo de Asobou) means NYC Let's Play in Japanese! Inspired by the Japanese hoikuen, this program was originally created to provide children of a Japanese background with a fun and casual environment to learn the language and culture.

NYCNDA's purpose is to make this opportunity more accessible to all New Yorkers who have an interest in providing their young children with a bicultural experience. We invite you and your family to join us on this journey!

Website Overview

WHO: This program is designed for children ages 0-6 years. No previous exposure to Japanese is required. Everyone is welcome!

WHAT: This program is not a Japanese class. NYCNDA's *playgroup provides an opportunity to learn the language and culture through everyday activities.

WHEN: We meet every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. You are welcome to join us for 1-2 ½ hours.

WHERE: We now have a permanent home on 2nd Ave and E.10th Street in the East Village!

HOW MUCH: NYCNDA will keep the prices as low as possible. For more savings check out our new Summer Program passes.

*Playgroup: A playgroup is a group of children and parents who meet at a designated location and time. We are currently a playgroup and once we have found a good location for our fulltime facility, we will apply for daycare registration. There are no playgroup registration guildlines so we follow the same guidelines for staff, food, safety and health that are required of daycares.
