“Nihongo de Yoga” literally means Yoga in Japanese. The class is taught in Vinyasa style, with the focus on breath, movement, and alignment. You do not need to be flexible to practice yoga. This yoga is for everybody! My focus is to provide the safe environment for you to experience the benefit of yoga, which includes better mental health, fit body, and relaxation. Both experienced and first-time yoga students are welcome. Open level class on Thursdays is available with Japanese babysitting service provided by NYCNDA staff.

Becoming a mother, becoming a father—becoming a parent—will, of course, be a very significant, not to mention continuous, transition for all of us who go down that path. I, as a fellow mother and licensed psychotherapist, have developed an insight and a set of therapeutic strategies that incorporates my training as a clinician and my experience as a parent to support moms and dads who have gone through—and/or are going through—the struggles that come with parenting.
